The stylish Mio dog basket takes napping to a whole new level. Created for MiaCara by designer Shigeo Mashiro, the Mio bed is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional wicker dog basket.

The curved body of this designer basket makes for a unique design and provides your dog with a protected space to snuggle up inside. The asymmetrical gap at the front of the basket makes it easy for smaller dogs to access the basket and allows them to comfortably rest their head while keeping their surroundings' insight.

The neutral color palette of the wicker basket and the cream cushion has been carefully chosen to fit seamlessly in any modern interior.

As with all MiaCara dog beds, Mio is not only designed to add style and elegance to your home but also to be long-lasting and functional. The bed is designed with the same viscoelastic mattress as our classic box beds. The soft foam cushion molds to the shape of the dog’s body, offering exceptional support and comfort. The cover is removable and washable for easy cleaning.

If necessary, clean the frame by wiping it with a soft damp cloth

60° C gentle wash cycle
The cushion filling is made of extremely soft, open-cell foam. To maintain the excellent properties of this material in the long run, the cushion should be cleaned accordingly.  The best cleaning procedure for the inner cushion is to wash it with a commercially available mild detergent at temperatures up to 60° C.
It is not recommended to use highly chlorinated and chemically aggressive washing additives. A brownish discoloration of the foam can not be avoided but has no effect on the quality of the foam. After washing and rinsing please remove as much water as possible through the spin cycle.
The inner cushion can be best dried by air on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 90° C, but please avoid over-drying.
Please plump up the inner cushion regularly so that it retains its fluffiness and shape. Cover fabric: 60° C
The cover is machine washable at 60° C or can be dry cleaned. After washing, please let the cover air dry on a rack, and do not put it in the dryer. If needed, iron the fabric only at the lowest level (synthetic). The fabric is easy to clean and very durable. Please brush off dirt and dust regularly, before it can penetrate deeper into the fabric, and remove stains immediately. For simple and uncomplicated cleaning in between, simply vacuum the surface of the cover with an upholstery brush.
